Welcome to Opportunity Tuesday’s new home!
So here we are in Twitter’s dying days, trying out a brand new way of sharing OppTues. First of all, thank you to the whopping 1204 of you who have signed up so far! I’m delighted and honoured to be gracing your inboxes.
I’ve never used substack before, so please bear with me while I learn the ropes - hopefully the emails will get a little fancier week by week - but if all has gone well then this little list should make its way to you most Tuesday evenings (and an occasional Wednesday morning, oops).
As most of you know, I have been curating and posting Opportunity Tuesday threads on Twitter almost every week for almost…5 years! How has it been that long? During that time, over 250 of you have let me know that you’ve found commissions, jobs, residencies and more thanks to it. I love hearing from you, so please do still get in touch! It will also be harder for people to just come across OppTues now, so please do make an extra effort to share with other artists, freelancers and creatives you know. If you or your organisation have your own newsletter I’d love you to include a link!
Now LET’S GET DOWN TO BUSINESS.
(…or scroll to the end to see Mabel the rescue pug…)

That’s it for this week!
Really hope it’s useful. It’s a tough time for artists (and, well, everyone) at the mo so please look after each other out there. As always, if you enjoy Opportunity Tuesday please share to help us reach the folks who need it most. I started it to try to level the playing field a bit, and every little helps.
Opportunity Tuesday will always be free to access, but if you can afford to chip in a little something to support me to keep it going, that would be hugely appreciated - just click the button below to support with £1 per week. I’m freelance too, you see!
Thank you for your support, and I have my fingers and toes crossed for you. Good luck!
P.S. The part you’ve all been waiting for. Mabel says hi…
Please note: Inclusion in #OpportunityTuesday is not endorsement. I look far and wide for the most interesting and exciting paid opportunities I can find, and though I do my best to make sure they’re legit, I don’t always know the organisations well. If you have an issue with something on the list, please get in touch with the relevant organisation. You are very welcome to send me opportunities to include, but please note I will not be able to respond to every request, and I do not guarantee inclusion in the list - each week is curated to be varied and relevant.
Hi Linda, love the new format! Thanks for your work as always!
